So what do you do in the evening.... (Random)
Do I look tired?
So for the past few nights I come back to the RMH from feeding and getting Bella ready for bed and hang out with Kristen. Kristen will then fall asleep and I proceed to surf the net.
Nothing bad or dirty- I just surf Facebook or MySpace to find people from my past. People that meant something and you have lost track of or would just be nice to say hello to them again and see what they are up to.
You get to see them older, their spouses and sometimes there kids. Its nice and I would not usually spend some time doing this- but its a distraction and I am in a room with NO TV. So you tend to surf and look up stuff. Not to mention its a good distraction so I am not looking up stuff about Apnea, her meds, the apnea machine, seizures, etc (Kristen is the one that does that). I am so excited that this will be ending soon and we get to be home with Bella and Jupiter and then begin that transition.
The transition where we no longer have the highly skilled nurse (babysitter) and we are now in charge of Bella with no help and No Naps or sleep ins. Added to the fact we will have a week of this to make this our own and then I get to go back to work.
We are not the 1st nor the last to do this and I am sure it will be ROUGH, but I am so freaking excited to take my daughter home. It does not take the pain of Gabi away and it was never suppose to but this time I get to bring a baby home. It feels good.
It will be well worth the transition and the lack of sleep and the great responsibility of molding and preparing a beautiful healthy girl into a woman. That and keeping her off the pole! (Thanks Chris Rock for that)
