Caffeine Anyone?
Hi Everyone,
Bella has been moved yet again to a smaller room so she can be better monitored. She continues to have the apnea episodes so they wanted her 1 on 1 with a nurse who could better monitor the spells as well as see if there is a pattern. Her CT scan came back negative, so no brain bleed. We are awaiting the results of the EEG which we will get back today to rule out seizures. All her doctors and nurses say she is a great healthy looking baby. They are waiting back for blood cultures to make sure there is no infection as well.
We love being with Bella, holding and loving her. She is a great eater, like her daddy! She has her daddy's eye lashes, and her mommy's temper. If all goes well and everything is ruled out, we will go through extensive CPR training and learn how to use an apnea monitor on Bella. We continue to pray that she grows and eats and develops typically.
Thank you all for your continued prayers and support. We are settled into Ronald McDonald House and we are not sure how long we will be there, probably until Bella comes home which we are not sure when. Anthony is a little frustrated since there is no WIFI at RMH, so it's harder for us to post updates and pics.
Sorry if we are not returning calls right away. There is very poor reception in the hospital no matter where we are at. By the time we get back to our room at night, we are tired, emotional and just spent! We hope you understand.
