I'm not superstitious. I'm a little-stitious

I do not know why but I am a little-stitious when it comes to sports.

Some examples would be: When the Sox won the World Series. Kristen wore my Pedro Martinez Sox Jersey to bed the night the Sox won game 4 vs the Yankees and proceeded to wear it for the rest of the Sox Division and World Series games (She would have stayed up to watch them, but the games were late for her).

I am the guy who will invite friends over to watch the big game, then, once everybody settles into their seats, insist that nobody change places because it will bring on bad karma, especially if they move around and we start losing or bad things happen. And if we start losing- time to switch up the seats.

During UCF games at the BrightHouse. If we are on a roll and Kristen or someone from my group leaves to concessions or bathroom run and the we start losing- guess what I thinking and guess how I make them feel.

I know it is crazy and deep inside I know I do not alter the game. However even with that I am still superstitious.

Another example is today I wore a white polo and a UCF cap with my game day khaki shorts. For everygame this season I have worn Gold. (I know we lost to Texas) Guess who will probably not have a White shirt on for the UCF/USF game in Tampa next week? (If I do, a gold UCF shirt will be brought in just in case).

I know I have problems and I only do it with sports! I do appreciate my wife is understanding of this and humors me.
