Random Thought: Hanging out in your Garage?

I know in Florida we do not have a basements. So we don't have as much room. What is it about hanging out in the garage. No AC or fan just the garage door open and hanging out. I see people drinking, talking, watching tv, etc. I do not get it. Why not hang out inside in the AC. Do you hate your family that much or are that disgusted with your home.
