Work Roadtrip Day 4 (cont)

- What is it about people sitting at another gate to wait for there flight to depart?

-  I flew 1st class from Little Rock to ATL and it was great.  Free cocktails and thanks to being up front in the 1st 4 rows I was able to get off the plane and on the my connecting flight in time.  I got to the gate as they were boarding.

- Looks like in Little Rock there was National Convention of elected officials.  They were all pretty young group-  Looked like people just recently out of college/Masters programs pursuing politics.  Reason I am telling you this is because the author of The Political Brain sat in front of me and the people on the plane were going gaga and asking him for an autograph.  His name is David Westen.

- So sticking with the politics (not a usual topic on Biggieville).  Mike Huckabee was departing on the flight I was going to be taking to Atlanta.  The guy next to me asked where he sat and guess where-  My seat!  Thought that was funny and cool.

- The guy that I sat with on that flight travels 50 out of 52 weeks a year.  That is just insane.  Nice gentlemen- who has met some nice celebrities and famous folks in his travels.  I wanted to listen to my iPod but that did not happen.  Wanted to read my Maxim- that did not happen either.

-  So thanks to the guy next to me I make it from the end  Terminal B to jump on the train to Terminal A in Atlanta.  Atlanta is the busiest Airport in America.

- Had another Gin and Tonic on that plane and saw a few UCF fans on the plane that were talking Knights.

- There must be a high school cheerleading thing going on.  My plane was full of cheerleader on the flight.  I ask one of the cheerleaders where they are cheering and she says to me:  "Florida!"

- I do not know who they do it but after 2 flights my bag gets to Orlando and I run to go to get on a shuttle to go to the Parking Spot.

- The Parking Spot is not bad.  Its off of 436 and you drive in park your ride and they pick you up hand you a card at the spot and just drive you to the airport.  I arrived and they dropped me off and put my luggage in the trunk and drove out and paid the cashier and was out.  Faster then other parking places I have used.

- Man it was nice not being in the Cobalt and driving my Accord.  I could not wait to see Kristen and sleep in my bed.

- I really do not know who they do it.  How people travel all the time and not miss or hate the comforts of home.

- Off to bed...  Pictures of the trip will be posted soon!
