Random Thought: Red Lobster
You would think this would be a Restaurant Review. However its not. Its about how come every time I drive by Red Lobster the place is always packed and the food is not that good.
Is it the price? I doubt it. Is it the quality seafood? Don't think so - I can name like 5 other places that have better seafood. So I ask you.. What is it that people love about Red Lobster? I know they have awesome cheddar biscuits, but that not enough for me to go there. It has been at least 7 years since I have set foot in a Red Lobster.
So please anyone out there that loves Red Lobster- What it is that would make you wait and want to eat there? Anyone?

Red Lobster is awful. I get dragged there at least once a year for someones birthday. I dont know why so many people seek out Red Lobster...I think your average Joe really likes fried seafood.
ReplyDeleteIf you've ever seen the lines at Bostons Fish House on Aloma you know what I am talking about. Its the nastiest stuff ever yet people love it.
Its probably a difficult business because fresh seafood is seasonal. So, if you don't have the purchasing economies of scale that Darden has its hard to succeed and grow.
