Random Thought: I love you DVR!!!!

I was thinking today about how great the DVR is and how its one of those things I can't live without. Because of the DVR- I can watch more TV shows in less time. You can watch two 30 min TV shows in 40 mins with a DVR. Just FF through the commercials and save all that time.

It has reached a point that we do not watch television live anymore. Why do that and have to sit and watch commercials. You also can watch shows on your own schedule. Half the time I do not even know when a show really airs since I watch it a day or 2 later.

Since it is recording shows and you are watching TV quicker it it opens up to you to start watching and recording TV series you did not have time to watch before. It records up to 2 shows at the same time.

The DVR helps relationships= if your significant other likes a certain shows and you don't. You can watch something you both like and have it record her show. So you can spend more time together (granted not really talking to each other)

If you get a phone call or need to help your wife with something or need to run to the bathroom or get a snack - Just pause it. It will be there waiting for you.

Don't know why I am gushing over the DVR- most of you have one and understand the love affair.
