How not to propose

Kristen sent me this article.

This English guy decided to propose to his girlfriend by putting a $12,000 engagement ring inside a helium balloon.  He was then going to "POP" the question.

But as he left the shop, a gust of wind pulled the balloon from his hand and he watched the ring -- and quite possibly the affections of his girlfriend -- sailing away over the rooftops.

Not sure about you but if I was proposing and a Helium balloon was my thing I would have tied that balloon onto my wrist like a little kid.  That or I would have put a toy ring in and made it look like it was inside the balloon. So when I popped it and the fake ring shoots out of the balloon you have the $12k ring in your pocket.
