Happy Mario Day!
I was looking online and saw that today is Mario Day!
Since his introduction in 1981, Mario has been the star of dozens of video games and featured in countless more, making him nothing short of a cultural icon.
While there isn't a technical National Mario Day, March 10 is commonly celebrated in honor of the video game legend because of its accidental tribute to his name -- MAR10, MARIO, get it?
So in honor of the day, here's looking at you, Mario. (AP)

Fun Mario Fact I got from Nintendo:
Full Name: Mario Mario
That's right kids. If Mario is just one half of the Mario Bros. duo, it stands to reason that his (unfortunate) full name would be Mario Mario.
As the story goes, creator Shigeru Miyamoto and his design team were discussing what to call the character when the landlord, Mario Segale, showed up demanding overdue rent. The rest, as they say, is history.
