UTEP game this weekend

Just a quick note-  I have lots of stuff to pictures to post (MONSTER Trucks baby!)- I hope to do this week.

 

But to the Subject at hand.  I know my Knights are on a tear and have won 5 in a row.  Kevin Smith and the O-Line are running for days and on pace to become the 1st RB to run for 2k yards.  But I do not want the team to overlook UTEP.  We have to beat UTEP to go host and be in the C- USA Title game.  We need to beat UTEP to get a chance at going to the Liberty Bowl. We need to beat UTEP to clinch the East Division in Conference USA.

 

The more I read on message boards people are talking about the Championship game and the bowl game we go to and what SEC team we may play in the Liberty Bowl. 

 

I cannot go that far.  I have to think about the C-USA game the bowls games because of the preordering tickets.  But I am afraid of UTEP- they have lost 5 games in a row and they will come here with this being there BOWL game and to play spoiler.  They have nothing to lose and every trick play will be used this game. 

 

UTEP runs a balance offense and have a good kicker.  There Defense is picking up and this will not be a walk in the park this weekend.  As much I love drinking the Knight Kool-Aid- I have been burned enough.  I am listening to Coach O'Leary and going one game at a time. 

 

I still have to be planning on the future but focusing one game at a time.  Saturday determines everything for UCF football.  So I get a little scared when others start looking at who we may play in a bowl game that would require us to win the next 2 games. 

 

We have had a great season this year and I have said this before but I am amazed on how long a season can be.  The world was going to end when we lost to ECU and USF and now we are riding high and our team has a swagger.  You have to Believe!  But you also have to play and make the plays to win!
