Tailgating - Marshall

Homecoming was great. This was really our 1st Homecoming with the parade and the game actually on UCF campus. The parade was lots of fun and after the parade we headed to watch a UCF Basketball exhibition.

I am looking forward to this hoops season. I think expectations are higher and we do not have the team to do it. We finished 2nd in the conference and we have lost 2 big players from last season- Peppers and Lavell. Hard to replace a SF and PF who led the team. Gary says it best on his Jerk Report - This years team will be on how MOD and JT play.

So we watched a half of the hoops and headed back to the tailgate to make some tasty burgers, hotdogs and Biggie S'mores.

Jason bought the burgers and potato salad- HOLY COW!! Amazing burger and was all great quality restaurant quality. Thanks again!

I was a grilling force- I grilled:
20 huge burgers
10 hotdogs
Reheated some sauteed onions I did.
and 25 Biggie S'mores.

I had one girl come up to me and said it was the best smell ever and wanted to pay me for a burger. I ended up giving her one, once I fed the group. After that I warmed up the Biggie S'mores and they were awesome - makes you feel like a kid again!

Once that was over we had to clear the tables and get the flip cup started. Huge Event- Knightro's Cup was the prize. Which I guess Tony and Cortni wanted to keep in a safe place from being stolen and left it at home.

We did lots of odds things with this round of games. The was game was to 7 , winner by 2 instead of the usual best of 7. Since there were more guys then girls; we rotated like volleyball and we could sub out. I think this was a factor along with us not flipping the cup right. We actually ran out of beer and had to suspend play to get more beer. In the end the ladies- Team Boobs- was triumphant over Deez Knights!

Once that occurred we all did our best to get into the game before kickoff.

Once we got into the game it was great seeing another packed BrightHouse. The place was pumping and jumping.
It never gets old jumping to Zombie Nation!
Jay and Erin did a BrightHouse 1st- fell asleep. You must be worn out to fall asleep in filled to capacity stadium while watching the best UCF player ever.

They were awake to see 24K run for an 87 yd TD run. That man is amazing. He is carrying the rock and the team to a bowl game. Amazing how long a season is. 1st we beat NC St play; we played Texas well. Then we fell apart vs ECU and USF. We come back and win 3 straight wins vs some good teams.

Now we are talking about winning out and it could become our best season ever. And as fans we have forgotten all about the meltdown during those 6 qts.

You do have to have amnesia and you have to take the season as one game ore season at a time. I love home football games. We have 1 game left and plan to make it one that is very memorable, since its the last game of the season- before a bowl game!
