C-USA CHAMPIONSHIP- Tulsa vs. UCF

This is so exciting for us to be hosting the Conference championship game again.  2nd time in 3 years.  This time at the BrightHouse!  I can get use to this.  George O'Leary is starting to build a great foundation.  We just need to keep winning.

I am so excited about this game on Saturday.  Of course I am also scared to have to play Tulsa again.  They have given up a ton of yards the last few games but keep on winning.  There last loss was to us and have won about 5 straight since.  They have the top offense in the country.  Their QB, Paul Smith, was named Conference Co-Offensive player of the year with UCF's own Kevin Smith,

So it will come down to having 24K and the offense staying on the field and leaving Paul and the Hurricanes on the sideline.  This is a rematch when we played them in '05- where we got taken to the woodshed and Paul just picked us apart.  It looked like that would be the case again this season when we played them in October.  Paul Smith lead them down on back to back possessions for TDs.  The key like most good QB's is pressure.

When we pressured him in October he threw 4 interceptions.  I do not see this happening again.  I see a really exciting and hard fought game this Saturday.  I pray that the Home crowd, our Senior leadership and this years team will lead us to our 1st ever Conference Championship in football and a trip to Memphis!

Go Knights!!
