Orlando stinks as a sports town

Orlando has had many sports franchises that the league has either collapsed or we just lost them to another city. Here are some of the teams we have had and lost:

The Orlando Thunder (WFL) and Orlando Rage (XFL) for football.
Orlando Cubs/Rays (Double A team) for Baseball
Orlando Solarbears (IHL) and the Orlando Seals (WHA2) for Ice Hockey
Orlando Jackals (RHI) for Roller hockey

Orlando Miracle (WNBA) for Womens basketball

We currently have the Orlando Magic (NBA), Orlando Predators (AFL), and UCF Knights (NCAA) as our teams for Orlando. In a few months we will be getting the Orlando Sharks (MISL) for indoor soccer.

As someone who loves sports and loves being involved in a sports community it kills me we cannot keep sport teams here and we do not rally behind our teams.

How do we not have a minor league baseball team here? Or another sports franshise here. 1 reason is our city refuses to build better facilities so instead- Tampa, Jacksonville get sports teams and we are left watching them on tv. It breaks my heart that Tampa - has an NHL, NFL, AFL, NCAA and a MLB team and we only have an NBA, AFL and NCAA team.

Good luck Sharks- History is not on your side. You will probably be successful and still not be in Orlando long or your league will not last! You choose.
