New deal to keep Speraw at UCF through 2010-11 season.

After nearly 14 seasons of mostly uncertain job security, UCF men's basketball Coach Kirk Speraw's latest deal will offer all he wants and then some.

It still must clear the lawyers first, but when it is officially signed it will pay the veteran coach $300K/yr($250K base salary and $50K for television and radio). But the most interesting thing I learned is that the new contract is what Tribble calls a "rollover" deal, meaning that at the end of each year he earns another season. So basically at the end of four years, it will rollover for another four years, barring some "catostrophic" occurrence like a winless season or say, an NCAA violation.
