The Wannstedt Bet

So tomorrow is a big night. A big night for UCF football and big night for me. UCF plays vs Pitt on ESPN @ 8pm tomorrow. It will be the only game on tv and it is against a BCS team that is currently 5-1.

This game has even more significance to me because I made a bet with my co-worker,Doug. Doug and I both have goatees and though he is a Northwestern Wildcat alum/fan he is also a fan of seeing me with a Magnum PI.

So here is the bet we made: If UCF wins, he shaves the goatee and just keeps the mustache and if Pitt wins, I have to shave my goatee and just keep a mustache. We would keep it the stache for a week. Hence it is called the Wannstedt bet.

Kristen is not happy with this bet. She has never seen me without a goatee. I have trimmed it really short but never off. So she too will be cheering on the Knights even more this Friday night.
