Superman Returns

Let me start off by saying I was not a huge Superman fan growing up. I enjoyed Batman and Spiderman more then the Man of Steel. I do watch Smallville, but not my favorite comic book hero. I did want to see the new one. So I went in with no expectations. I watched it without Kristen. I thought it was little long. They did not make it like Batman Begins, where they started from scratch and the other 5 movies before it did not matter. In this Superman it follows after the 1st original (Christopher Reeves), so Marlon Brando is still Superman's father. Superman returns after 5 years and things have changed in the world, Lois Lane,
Lex Luther, etc.

They made it a love story and it was good. I would see the 2nd one when it comes out. However it would not be one that I buy and add to the collection. There are somethings in this movie that are very different then in any other Superman flick. So it will be interesting when the next one comes out. If you are going to see it, try an IMAX. It has some 3D parts to it. That would be cool!
