The day has come..

Well the day has come, where we are going to put Gabi ashes to rest. She is already in Heaven and looking upon us.

Yesterday was a very long day. We picked up Gabriella's ashes, Kristen bought a necklace for our cross keepsakes that have her ashes. We found out that the Hilton Garden Inn was kind enough to let us use their conference room for free so that we could all meet after the burial. We had family coming in last night we had to see and we also needed to pick up more food and stuff from the supermarket because we will have an unknown amount of people there today.

It is funny because this is a burial, but it sometimes has a feeling like it is celebration "get together/party" and we have no idea how many people will come. So you also have to deal with the questions of do we have enough food, enough to drink, etc.

This whole funeral/mass/after burial activities are all so much. I think we need the closure.

Today is a celebration of Gabi's life and a day many will come to be with her and with us.
I love you Gabi.

It was a lovely service, and a beautiful tribute to your daughter's memory. You've shown such grace and love throughout this very difficult time. Please know we're thinking of you guys and want to do what we can to help you and comfort you. Gabriella will not be forgotten.
